
The Oba of Ogbaland received the Eze Nwadei and Umu Enyike Royal Kindred of Ogba land after over 40 years of absence from the Ogba Central Palace.
The event was facilitated by members of the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) ONELGA Chapter led by Amb. Dr. Ikechukwu, Osere, Bishop Amb. Promise Ebenezer and Amb. Judy Enyiche.
Speaking during the visit, Eze Francis Imordi, the Eze Nwadei of Ogba land expressed gratitude to God on the leadership style of the Oba of Ogbaland. He said that the visit of the Umu Enyike is to reconnect with the king of Ogbaland and also to Congratulate the Oba on his recognition by His Excellency, Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the Governor of Rivers State.
Eze Imodi assured the king of their support at all time. He stated that this is the first time a large delegation of Enyike Royal Kindred is visiting the palace since the 70s. “We are one family, one people and we must give honour to whom honour is due” Eze Imordi said as he pledged his loyalty to the King of Ogba land.
In his response, His Eminence, Barr. (Dr.) Nwachukwu Nnam Obuohna-Obi lll, Oba (Eze-Ogba) of Ogbaland thanked the Umu Enyike Royal family, saying “It is good for brother to visit his brother and children to visit their father” He further said “People should always know their place in history, It will be great for us as a people to come together in love, peace, unity and ensure that the kingdom move forward because the unity & peace will usher in development to Ogba land” the king added.
The event featured the Traditional rites of the Oba’s palace, Merry Making and group photographs.
