Police officers in Borno State have detained a 25-year-old housewife named Fatima Abubakar for allegedly poisoning her husband Goni Abbah to death. The suspect was detained on October 19 by members of the Command at Anguwan Doki, according to a statement issued by the state’s commissioner of police, Mr. Abdu Umar. Umar claimed that the second wife of the victim, who was the local area’s chief imam, allegedly poisoned the victim’s food as he was leaving the mosque. The CP indicated that Goni’s condition deteriorated as soon as he began eating.

He claimed that the victim was given emergency medical care while being transported right away to the State Specialist Hospital, but sadly, he later passed away. An angry kid who meant to the police as they hurried to arrest the culprit.
