According to the Trendies News blog, the Federal Government of Nigeria has allocated an N470 billion special fund in the 2023 budget for revitalizing universities and raising teachers’ pay. According to Finance Minister Zainab Ahmed, N300 billion will be used to revitalize universities while N170 billion will be used to raise the pay of university lecturers.
