20-year-old alleged kidnapper found in Bauchi with N8.4 million in cash, ammunition, and other items

The police in Bauchi State have detained a 20-year-old man named Abubakar Isah on suspicion of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, kidnapping, and illegal possession of restricted firearms and ammunition.He was taken into custody on September 16, 2022, at around 5:30 p.m. with firearms, ammunition, and N8.4 million cash, according to CP Mamman Sanda, the state’s commissioner of police, who spoke on Tuesday, October 18.

The suspect was taken into custody at Tashan Daudu, Soro via Ganjuwa LGA at Gobirawa, according to the CP, who spoke as the subject was paraded before reporters at the Command headquarters.He said that “the exhibits listed below were seized in his possession: N8.466,000 cash, one SMG gun with 92 live rounds, and one empty magazine.”
