A Zambian police officer allegedly k#lls his wife and breaks up with her after learning she was getting married to someone else.

Albert Kamasumba, a 29-year-old police officer from Zambia, called his estranged wife Deborah Kasakula before shooting himself in the head after finding out that she was getting married to someone else.

In Pamodzi Township, Ndola, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, the incident is alleged to have taken place. Another version of the story, according to the local media, claimed that Deborah left the police officer because she was sick of hearing abse continuously.
Deborah returned to her parents in Ndola’s Kawama Township after a few months of being apart from the couple who shared a home in the Chifubu Police Camp.

He found out that she planned to wed a another man in Kitwe,He went on the attack and beat her and another relative who was purported to be her sister. One officer informed the reporters, “It is believed that the officer went to his wife’s residence in Kawama after leaving work today and sh@@t her and her sister, then later fled to Pamodzi Community Police Post where he sh@t himself outside.”
