
Some Nigerian women in London attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday dressed in what are known as “Aso Ebi,” or uniform clothing.
The group of women had the late queen’s portrait on the front of their attire, albeit donning various colors of the same fabric.

On Tuesday, Owambeuk posted the images to Instagram with the message, “Our London Aunties are not joking ooo.” Representing Nigeria in every manner. One of us took the initial joke too literally. The clothing was made and shipped in four days, arriving in London from Lagos the day before the event. It gained popularity, and the Palace has now asked to have it displayed at the London
