
It seems as though there will never be an end to the spat between comedian Carter Efe and singer Berri Tiga over the royalties for the popular song “Machala.”
The split sheet discrepancies that caused the song to be removed are no longer news, and the specifics have remained murky because nobody truly knew what transpired between them (Carter and Tiga)
According to Berri, Carter and his team offered to pay him off with just N100K despite the fact that he wrote and sang the song and had previously agreed to a 70-30% split. This is in response to Carter’s recent use of social media to criticize Berri, calling him ungrateful.
